It&#8217;s a replacement firmware whatsit that works on a few different mp3 players and supports ogg, flac etc and works with a filesystem structure (no more itunes!) although it has quite powerful support for playlists that I haven&#8217;t played with yet. It&#8217;s also themeable (see screenshot). It has all sorts of funkiness like being able to play doom or tetris and the like and the sound quality is extremely configurable.
